This exhibit combines Portraits of Poets and the Poems they have written. It is a traveling show that was organized by Bay Area photographer, Margaretta Mitchell. This exhibit has shown at The Baldwin Gallery, Middle Tennessee State University and at The Doheny Memorial Library, University of Southern California and continues to travel around the country.

Margaretta K. Mitchell is a Bay Area photographer whose work has appeared in numerous exhibitions and books. Her photographs are in the collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the New York Public Library, and the International Center of Photography, among others. Her books include Gift of Place (1969), To a Cabin (1973), Recollections: Ten Women of Photography (1979), and Ruth Bernhard: Between Art and Life (2000).
